What is ichigos dad?

Ichigo's dad is Isshin Kurosaki, a former captain of the 10th Division in the Gotei 13, the organization of Soul Reapers in the world of Bleach. He is known for his eccentric personality and love for puns and jokes. Isshin is also the father of Karin and Yuzu Kurosaki and the husband of Masaki Kurosaki, who was killed by a Hollow while protecting Ichigo. Isshin later reveals that he is a Visored, a Soul Reaper who has gained Hollow powers, and that he gave up his captaincy to protect his family and live as a human. He plays a major role in the story as a mentor and ally to Ichigo, teaching him about his powers and supporting him in battles against Hollows and other enemies.
